Internal Tanking Simplified
Elastomeric and Cementitious crystallisation are active and flexible coating systems applied as an internal slurry. Utilising and reacting with free lime in concrete, they block cracks and capillaries.
With the manufactures that we are approved contractors for offering a wide range of hand applied, third party accredited coatings including elastomeric polyurethane and epoxy coatings. Applications include both internal and external tanking to both new and existing substrates, for use on both vertical and deck application. The coatings are UV Stable, rapid curing and easy to install.
With the BWS technicians being proficient installers of numerous Type A waterproofing systems including self-adhesive membranes, cementitious coatings, multi coat renders and sodium bentonite membranes you can be sure that your installation is safe with us
Things to consider:
- It is imperative to refer to the Manufacturer of the Product for correct guidance on preparation
- If construction operations may damage applied membranes, adequate protection must be provided
- Detailing of corners, construction joints and expansion joints
- Suitability of substrates
