Type-A protection is defined by BS8102:2022 as ‘barrier protection’. This is where a material is put in place that offers a barrier to the passage of water with the aim of achieving a specified level of ‘dryness’

As proficient installers of numerous Type A fully bonded waterproofing systems including self-adhesive membranes, cementitious coatings, multi coat renders and cast in situ membranes such as sodium bentonite membranes, We find the installation of Atal UK's Bentofix to be the most robust and cost effective type A system. Our technicians are experienced in the application of Bentofix, a product that can be installed in most British-weather conditions which reduces delays and additional labour costs
